Du Plessis Knocks Out Giles In Second Round
Dricus Du Plessis picked up his second straight knockout since joining the UFC when he knocked out Trevin Giles in the second round. Du Plessis dropped Giles with a right hand and followed it up with ground and pound to force the stoppage. Du Plessis scored 108.02 points at 8.2k at 33.30 percent ownership. Du Plessis landed 25 significant strikes, two takedowns and a knockdown.
Du Plessis has scored a stoppage in all 16 of his career wins and is definitely a fighter you want to target in DFS.
Giles at 8.0k scored only 4.36 points at 16.84 percent ownership. This is the first time he’s been knocked out in the UFC.
