Penne Submits Kowalkiewicz In First
Jessica Penne picked up her second straight win with a first round submission via armbar over Karolina Kowalkiewicz. Kowalkiewicz ultimately played with fire, engaging Penne on the ground and got burned.
Penne at 7.9k scored 107.39 points at 10.20 percent ownership. She landed just 12 significant strikes, but one takedown is all she needed. She added just over three minutes of control time.
Kowalkiewicz at 8.3k scored 12.98 points at 11.64 percent ownership. Kowalkiewicz landed just eight strikes and an ill advised takedown.
