Dillashaw Edges Out Sandhagen By Split Decision
T.J. Dillashaw returned from an over two year layoff to upset top bantamweight contender Cory Sandhagen by split decision.
Dillashaw, the former UFC bantamweight champion, at 7.4k scored 92.29 points at 31.70 percent ownership. Dillashaw landed 70 significant strikes, two takedowns and over seven minutes of control.
Sandhagen, priced at 8.8k, was the highest owned fighter on the slate at 57.84 percent ownership. He landed 90 significant strikes, but no scored no takedowns or knockdowns.
Dillashaw returned from a two year layoff and immediately thrust himself into the UFC bantamweight title picture.
